Birmingham, Alabama - Student's at Birmingham's Carver High School found themselves pushing brooms instead of pencils Monday morning after Sunday's heavy rains flooded the hallways. Leslie Ward is pushing the water out the door, held open by James Mapson. Principal Eddie Dansdy said classes resumed at 10 a.m. and no serious damage was caused by the high waters.
