Jefferson County, Alabama - Work is well underway in the classroom and gymnasium facilities at the new Briarwood Christian High School on Cahaba Valley Road, according to Carl Jernigan, chairman of the building committee. Part of the classroom section is already standing, as shown in the background in this recent photo, with foundation work don on the gymnasium in the foreground. Both buildings should be completed in time for use in the next school session which begins this September, Jernigan said.
