1978 Press Photo International Harvester Building in Homewood, Alabama

Homewood, Alabama - International Harvester's factory-owned sales and service branch in Birmingham has been moved to new, larger quarters at 200 Oxmoor Boulevard. The new branch is housed in a 37,000-square-footbuilding just off Interstate 65 and includes a $600,000 parts inventory to support and service facilities. Manager T.E. Sewell said 55 persons are employed a the new location which will have its formal opening Thursday and Friday.
