Edwards Official of IRS is given honor Edwards gets award before retirement The man who has served for the last five years as Associate Chief, Appellate Division of Internal Revenue Service in New Orleans was given the Albert Gallatin Award Saturday night at a testimonial dinner honoring him on his retirement. Travis H. Edwards has spent nearly 35 years with the federal government, the last 33 with the IRS.
