Proud of this book, which contains a folio of letters of congratulations for his work in agriculture signed by the agricultural commissioners of the 48 states and by Secretary of Agriculture Clinton P. Anderson, is Harry D. Wilson of Baton Rouge, Louisiana agricultural commissioner, who in May will have completed 32 years in his department and is said to be the oldest commissioner in point of service. He was ill and unable to attend the convention in Biloxi a week ago of the National Association of Commissioners, Secretaries and Directors of Agriculture, where the folio was presented through his son, Justin, a safety engineer, by Commissioner Joseph Scott of Oklahoma.

Photo is dated 1947.

Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches.
