Top of WYOMING one of the five American battleships from Sixth Battle Squadron of Grand Fleet where are the men? At battle stations. Note -- I took thispicture myself -- no photographers on U.S. ships. Not a hell of a lot of action I admit, but it shows American flag. It was snapped from deck, cleared for action, while American squadron were assisting in ? German fleet. Up in top (out of sight of course) Lieut. Shelly, first spotter, next continual watch on Germans as did men on huge range -- finders in foreground. Captain Christy stayed at battle station in conning tower throughout. Commander Fitch, Chief Gunnery officer was in fire control station. All spotters and range figures to plotting room where range was kept up minute by minute -- ready to fire in 30-40 seconds. [US ships -- NEW YORK (flagship), TEXAS, ARKANSAS, WYOMING & FLORIDA]
