Mrs. Albert Elliot, left, of Tomaston Maine, presents a portrait of her son, the late Lt. Commander Jack Elliott, to the captain of the newly commissioned Navy destroyer, USS Elliott, at Ingalls Shipbuilding division of Litton Industries in Pascagoula, Mississippi Saturday. Accepting is the ship's commanding officer, Commander Donald L Gurke. Seated at left is former Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Elmo R. Zumwalt Jr., who was Elliott's commander in Vietnam.
