T.S. Lucius, left, and Mrs. Lucius are shown admiring a fishing rod and reel, two of the gifts presented him Monday afternoon at a farewell party marking his last day as county treasurer. The gifts were presented on behalf of fellow employees by Commission President W.D. Kendrick, right. Lucius, who did not seek reelection, completed nearly 25 years of county service - first at Jefferson-Hillman Hospital, then as chief clerk to the County Commission and treasurer since May 1, 1959.
