Birmingham, Alabama - Latter Day Saints plan dedication...The Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with world headquarters at Independence, Missouri, will observe Sunday the official opening and consecration service for the new $40,000 building. The congregation, organized here in 1951, has completed the building at 4720 Avenue W. The congregation, Birmingham's only Latter Day Saints congregation, met for months at various locations and recently has been meeting at the YMCA.
