Anthony J. Chiancone owner of the Southe Euclid lanscape contracting firm which bears his name, was recently presented the merit award in the environmental improvement awards program sponsored by the Associated landscape Contractors of America, Inc. Chiancone was cited for outstanding work involved in landscapping the Health Science Center of Case Western Reserve University, under the direction of Col. Ben DeJohn, administrator. Landscape architects for the project were Behnke, Ness & Litten and architects were Barnes and Neiswander, both Cleveland firms. The award was presented during ALCA's annual meeting in Las Vesgas. The national trade association is made up more than 360 firms.
