Topeka, Kansas-Gov. Alf Landon jokes with W.H. Roehrig (at his left) after he was presented with a button and hat at the State Capitol by members of the "40 and 8 Legionaires," with who he is shown. The presentation was made on the eve of the notification ceremony at which Governor Landon will make his acceptance speech tonight.
