Description
This is the dining room-kitchen of the hovel on the alley. The trapdoor to the windowless and lightless basement is usually closed, but it leads to the "bathroom." Every time the door is opened, fumes from the dank cellar flood the room above. Many windows in the house show gaps that let in cold air and no window has a screen. Housing - Milwaukee - Blight
