The runt of a litter of Yorkshire terriers and now fully grown, Sylvia measures 5 1/4 inches form tip to ears to ground, weighs 10 ounces. There's a tiny Yorkshire terrier in Walthamstow, England, which seems to have set itself up in competition for the "smallest dog" title. The little female, the runt of a litter, weighs only 10 ounces and measures 5 1/4 inches from the tip of its ear to the ground. It is more than 6 months old and is now considered by its mistress to be full grown.

Photo is dated 1960.

Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches.
