Congo - An American flag was wrapped around the waist of a demonstrator as he ran from the United States consulate in Elisabethville, in the Congo's Katanga province Thursday. He had stolen the flag from the consulate in rioting touched off by the announcement that the United States is sending a military mission to the Congo to strengthen United Nations' efforts to unify the country.
