Radial passenger car tires are placed on new specially designed vulcanizing equipment prior to their final manufacturing step at the B.F. Goodrich plant in Akron. The new tires, which also receive their tread and sidewall designs in this operation, are the first American-made tires for all American automobiles. They were introduced in Dallas today.
