1969 Press Photo A sculpture in Russia's Prospekt Mira faces workers' flats

Moscow: Huge cubist blocks of workers' flats, many as high as 30 one of the top priorities in the capital. This block, recently completed on Prospekt Mira, about 6 miles from the center of Moscow, faces the stainless steel sculpture (foreground) symbolically depicting workers striding forward with Communist emblem of the hammer and sickle.
