Moscow: Huge cubist blocks of workers' flats, many as high as 30 one of the top priorities in the capital. This block, recently completed on Prospekt Mira, about 6 miles from the center of Moscow, faces the stainless steel sculpture (foreground) symbolically depicting workers striding forward with Communist emblem of the hammer and sickle. The statue, built in 1937, is at entrance to Exhibition of Economic Achievement. --- Russia - Cities - Museum - Buildings
