Greensboro Golf Course, North Carolina - A most happy fellow - Johnny Pott has a big wide grin as he talked with sportswriters today after firing a first round 65 to lead in the Greater Greensboro Open Golf Tournament. Pott's 6-under-par score was two strokes ahead of the field. Happy Leader - Johnny Pott of Shreveport, Louisiana, who hasn't won a golf tournament since 1965, when he took the American classic, smiled happily Thursday after shooting a 65 for a two stroke lead after the first round of the Greensboro North Carolina Open.
