1958 Press Photo Father O'Donnell Of Marquette University Receives Paintings

Marquette university accepted 13 paintings of Christ and his disciples from the French artist, Andre Girard, Monday. Father Edward J. O'Donnell, S.J., president of the university received the paintings, the gift of an anonymous donor. The collection, made up of one large painting and 12 smaller studies of figures in the main group, will be displayed on the third floor of the school library. The paintings are valued at $12,000.
