1968 Press Photo Patricia Lewniewski and model of Highland Park public housing

Description
This model shows an interesting design and land use proposed for the new Highland Park public housing project in Milwaukee. Two round towers in the background will contain 110 one bedroom apartments each for elderly persons. The towers will be 12 stories high, with community facilities and utilities on the first floor and apartments on the top 1. Miss Patricia Lesniewski, an employee of the housing authority, points to one of the 14 two story buildings which will contain 54 four and five bedroom units for families. Photo at top shows details of two story building. Designs were submitted by (unreadable), Phillips, Mochon, Incorporated, Milwaukee architectural firm. Plans will be reviewed by the housing authority at a meeting tentatively scheduled for next week. High Park Housing Projects. Public plan.
