The first Performance: Of Peter Weiss' play "Die Ermittlung" (The proceedings) which is bases on the Auschwi tzprozeB will takes place at the same time in the Federal Republic of Germany and in the DDR, - on October 19th in Kottbus (East-Germany), Dresden (East-Germany), Erfurt (East-Germany), Leipzig (East-Germany), Alltenburg (East-Germany) Hale (East-Germany), Rootstock (East-Germany), Potsdam (East-Germany) Neutralize (East-Germany) and East-Berlin on the one side, as also in West-Berlin, Essen, Cologne and Munich on the other side. The defendants are taken over in the play with the original names of the proceedings, Mulka, Bogner, Dr. Capesius a.s.o. The Royal Shakespeare Theatre appears the play also on October 19th in the English language.
