25-Year Award Winners-Three Inland Empire residents were awarded 25-year citations for their work in sports yesterday by the Inland Empire Sportswriters and Broadcasters. Honored at a luncheon at the Desert Saharan were, left to right, George Fisher, former Cheney High School Coach and a long-time director of the Washington High School Activities Association; Bob Johnson, sports editor of The Spokane Chronicle, and Carl (Tuffy) Ellingsen, former Washington State University grid star and long-time coach and athletic director at Rogers High School. Dr. George I. Werner (right) made the presentation.
