Stanley R. (Bucky) Harris smiles at reporter's' question at press conference after The Boston Red Sox announced he would become general manager when present manager Joe Cronin becomes President of The American League. Harris who has been three times field manager at Washington, twice at Detroit and once each with the Red Sox, New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies, has been serving as Cronin's assistant for the past two years.
