Description
REMEMBERS WHEN SWIMMING WAS FUN -- Eleanor Holm, 49, works in her Miami Beach apartment with a display of swimming medals on the wall behind her. The glamour girl swim champ of the twenties and thirties says present day girl swimmers are over-training and burning themselves out. They can take it easier and have fun and still set records, she says. Miss Holm, now an interior decorator, was undefeated national backstroke champ from 1928 until 1936 and the only girl ever named to three U.S. Olympic teams.

Photo measures 6 x 8.75 inches.
