Baseball Charles O. Finley, left, owner-president of the Kansas City Athletics, and Arthur C. Allyn, jr., right, president of the Chicago White Sox, chat with Sen. William Proxmire, D-Wis., before a hearing today by the Senate Antitrust and Monopoly Subcommittee. Finley and Allyn were called to testify in the senators' investigation of the sale of the New York Yankee to the Columbia Broadcasting System. Finley and Allyn previously voted against the transaction.
