NEW ORLEANS -- COLLINS POCKETS NEW ORLEANS OPEN PRIZE -- Bill Collins of Baltimore, Maryland, is all smiles as he folds up first prize of $2,800 after winning New Orleans Open Golf Tournament today. Collins fired a two-under-par 70 to make a tournament total of 280, three strokes ahead of his nearest rivals. It was Collins' first major win. He was ready to quit the tour because of poor play.
