ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN -- SETS AMERICAN RECORD -- Ron Clark, University of Michigan swimmer, catching his breathe after breaking the American record in the 220-yard breaststroke. His time of 2:31.1 bettered by 3.7 seconds the mark set by Olympian Bill Mulliken last year. Clark set the new record in a special race after a dual meet with Ohio State at Ann Arbor today.
