General Dwight D Eisenhower and Senator Henry Cabot Lodge, Jr, his campaign manager for the Republican Presidential Nomination, are shown as they posed for newsmen after their conference at General Eisenhower's shape headquarters in Paris Yesterday. It was reported later that they conferred on timetable strategy for the general's return to the US and the down-the-stretch drive to win the nomination at the Chicago convention in July. One report said the general's letter of resignation as Atlantic pact commander would be on the way to Washington by the middle of next week.
