Sen. Joseph McCarthy (R-Wis) and Miss Jean Kerr, above, will be married in St. Matthews (Roman Catholic)Cathedral in the nation's capital on Sept. 29, the future bride's mother Mrs. William P. Kerr, announced in Washington today (Sept. 17) This picture was made last January at the Inaugural Festival, one of the events proceeding President Eisenhower's inauguration. Miss Kerr, 29,formerly was a research aide in the 43-year-old Senator's office.
