Description
One of the secrets of the Great Success that has always crowned the efforts of General of the Army Dwight D.Eisenhower is his faculty for giving himself entirely to the matter in hand at the moment. In his role of fighting man he is just that, and he doesn't play around at anything else but drives towards the Goal of winning his fight. Similarly when relaxing, he relaxes all the way and leaves Military problems behind to be tackled later when he can approach them with a refreshed body and mind. These two photos tell the story better than any Psychologist could do it in a volume. At left, General Eisenhower is shown as he Directed the Invasion of Normandy as he opened the fight to beat the Germans on their own ground. At right angle Eisenhower wearing a carefree grin as he relaxed on vacation in the Wisconsin Woods.

Photo is dated 1946.

Photo measures 8.5 x 6.75 inches.
