Description
According to reports reaching Stockholm, Sweden, from Oslo, Capital of Norway, pictured, three or four German warships fought with Norwegian coastal batteries in an effort to smash their way into Oslofjord and reach Oslo. Warplanes flew over and an air battle was waged overhead. Soon after the report of an attack on Norway come the report of an invasion of Denmark by German Troops.
