Mrs Harriet Holder Rittenhouse French Peabody, socialite inventor, is en route by Union Pacific from Las Vegas, NV, where she was granted a divorce from her third husband, Stephen B Peabody, millionaire yachtsman to LA for a conference with airplane manufacturers. She holds patents on several plastic processes which may be used to fabricate airplanes. She owns a plastic factory at New Haven, CT. Mrs Peabody, who asked the court for permission to resume the name of Harriet French is shown here ringing the dinner bell at the hotel where she is staying.
