George F Hurley left investigator for the Dies Committee investigating un-American Activities was ordered arrested April 5 on charges of conspiring to deprive a Communist Political Candidate in Pennsylvania of his Constitutional rights in a raid on Philadelphia Party Headquarters. Hurley is shown as he identified for Chairman MArtin Dies right D-Texas April 4 papers seized in the raid. Another agent and a Philadelphia Police Lieutenant also were ordered held on similar charges
