A persistent young man William Denman, 27 of Avenel, N.J., pictured above, unable to go to college and study law because of financial difficulties, he took a job as a page boy on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. He never doubted his eventual success and today he began his duties as a member of the exchange. The promotion had come as a surprise he admitted, but he guessed courtesy and honesty got him his new job. He is married and has a daughter, 3.
