Pictured at a session of the senate committee to investigate the executive agencies of the Government are Senator William Byrd, left, of Virginia and Senator Joseph T. Robinson of Arkansas. Senator Byrd, Chairman of the committee, submitted a recommendation which, he said, would save the government a sum of $30,000,000 a year. Senator Byrd opposes the President's recently announced Re-organization plan.
