Walter Francis Frear, former Governor of Hawaii from 1907-13, upon his arrival at San Francisco aboard the Liner President Wilson. He is here on a vacation. He stated the recent crime wave in Honolulu is the result of too much politics and denied the existence of friction between the townspeople of Honolulu and the Navy.
