May Become Pennsylvania Railroad Preiy - Walter S. Franklin, (above) now executive vice president of the Pennsylvania Railroad. Today was reported as slated to become the president of the company but Franklin and Martin W. Clement, now president, declined comment. Published reports said Clement would retire become chairman of the PRR board and Franklin would become president.
