Here is an exclusive photo of Miss Leonora Simpson, wealthy ranch woman, as she appears in Glenn County Jail at Willows. Miss Simpson, with two of her ranch employees, Dane McGowan (no relation to H.W. McGowan) and Lloyd Henderson, has been indicted, charged with assertedly threatening the life of former Glenn County District Attorney, H.W. McGowan. The three were accused of allegedly attempting to hire Joe Swihart of Orville, California to shoot McGowan.
