The Senior Senator from Ohio was given a great ovation as he took his place to make his nation wide radio address in which he stated that "blundering policy" of Truman administration in handling occupation of Germany has wrecked entire economic set up in Europe. Taft declared that he wants to be certain there's a good chance to win "when asked whether he would accept party's presidential nomination.
