"Little Itch" Questioned In Keg Murder. New York..........."Little Itch" Halpern, a tough little man with a big police record arrives at Police Station in Queens to be booked on vagarancy charge after a squad of Detectives had arrested him with utmost secrecy and caution at a Mid-Town Manhattan Hotel. He was booked on this charge in order to be held for intensive questioning in the Keg murder of Mrs. Esther Gordon, whose battered, slashed and shot. Body was found jammed in a barrel near Hell Gate Bridge a week ago.
