Description
James O. Hostetter, wealthy retired manufacturer, with De.t Lts. Ro.B. McCreadie and Vernon Rusamussen following Hostetter's arrest on an attack charge. Complaint was made against the manufuacturer by Maria Consuela Jiminez, a maid, after she was rushed to a hospital, reportedly dying from poison sandwiches she had eaten earlier in the evening. Miss Jiminez claimed Hostetter ha made numerous improper advances, finally attacking her Dec. 3. Fearing she was pregnant, she devoured the poisoned sandwiches--then phones police. Hostetter denied the girl's charges and claimed the whole thing was a "Frameup."
