Description
Joseph E. Mayott, 65, who suffers from a rare and incurable disease that causes him to grow shorter and shorter, came to court fighting the divorce plan on his wife, Angelina Mayott, 59, and himself asking for a decree on grounds of cruelty. Mayott (AT LEFT) is shown standing by Claude Kimball, reporter who is 5 feet 7 inches tall. Mayott was at one tiem the same height, but has grown smaller until he is now 4 foot and three inches in height and still shrinking.
