Johnny Hudson, Brooklyn Dodgers' popular second baseman who is affectionately known to Brooklyn fans as "Mr. Chips," is shown with his bride, the former Vera Ryan, as they ran the gauntlet of a barrage of rice tossed by friends who attended their wedding at the St. Rose of Lima Church in Brooklyn today. Mrs. Hudson is a local girl. They will honeymoon in Johnny's native Texas.
