Description
The Count of Covadonga, formerly the Prince of Austria's, renounced his right of succession to the Spanish throne when he married a commoner. Edelmira Sampedro, with whom he is shown above. Son of the late ex King Alfonso of Spain, the Count was a descendant of the proud royal lines of the Bourbons and Hapsburgs, which gave many kings to Europe.
