Temporarily, at least U.S. Senator James Pope of Idaho, is head of the Special Senate Committee of seven members which will investigate the manufacture and traffic in Arms and Munitions of War. Vice President Garner selected the committee today (April 20), naming Senator Pope temporary chairman and the committee will hols its first meeting next week.
