"This is how I feel at the end of the day," drawled Dr. Cooley as he came across a cow skull on his 400 acre ranch near Richmond Texas. The 6 foot, 4 inch surgeon performs between eight and 12 heart operations a day. Bottom: Dr. Cooley brushes off "Buck," one of the horses he and his family enjoy riding when they can spend the weekend together at their ranch. His daughter, Louise, 15 is one of his "ranch hands."
