1941 Press Photo Lily Fern Thompson, Yacht Tragedy survivor poses with children

Receipt of a transcript of the log of the ill fated South Seas Voyage of the 28 foot sloop wing on gave Los Angeles psychiatrists hope on July 18 that they may be able to restore the memory of the only survivors, 21 year old Lily Fern Thompson, whose husband and another couple died of hunger and thirst. With Mrs. Thompson are her children, Jacqueline, 3 and Tom, 1 1/2.
