Anthony Hiss of New York who was elected executive editor of the Harvard Crimson, Hiss, who holds the fifth ranking post on the paper, is the son of Alger Hiss, former state department official convicted of perjury in connection with an alleged communist conspiracy to infiltrate the government. Hiss was given charge of the Crimson Review, the Crimson bookshelf and the Crimson confidential guide features of the paper. He also directed the recent publication of a commencement supplement.
