Jacob S Floyd Sr prominent Alice attorney and foe of South Texas political boss George Parr was interviewed by reporters after he and 11 attorneys appeared before Gov Shivers today. The lawyers offered themselves to fill the vacancy left by District Judge C Woodrow Laughlins removal. Floyd said the Governor and the delegation saw eye to eye.
