Elena Nikolaidi, Metro Opera and Concert Star, is shown with her husband, Thanos Mellos and their 5 year old son, Michael, in their new Rochell home. This week the U.S. Senate passed a bill permitting Ms Nikolaidi and her family's permanent residence in the U.S. The singer was born in Turkey, but lived most of her childhood in Greece. She was a star of the Vienna State Opera and came to the Metro last year.
