1931 Press Photo Samuel Endicott Peabody wed Mrs.Augusta Converse McElwain

Samuel Endicott Peabody, author and son of the late John Edicott Peabody of Brookline, Mass. married Mrs. Augusta Converse McElwain, 34-year-old divorcee of Medfield Mass. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Federick Converse of Westwood Mass. Both Peabody and Mrs. McElwain are members of prominent New England families. For a Honeymoon the plan to motor to Santa Barbara to spend the summer and later travel to their home in Massachusetts, after which they will leave for Europe for the winter.
